Pending Economic Collapse Threatens US Civil Liberty

Ron Paul warns of a impending monetary collapse, hyperinflation and ensuing social unrest as a direct result of overspending by the government and creation of currency by the Federal Reserve. He also warns that the government is likely to introduce further social controls to handle the civil unrest. We are heading into dangerous times.

Neosurvivalism in the Coming Economic Crash

According to Gerald Celente, the big economic crash of 2010 is about to happen. Mr Celente, who founded the Trends Institute, has made many economic and social predictions over the past several years that have been chillingly accurate.

His advice for the coming crash can be summed up in the term "Neosurvivalism" which includes:

* Don't go a penny more into debt... become frugal!
* Support your local community - buy local products.
* Invest in gold (Celente predicts that it is likely to go to $2000USD an ounce).
* Get connected with your community. Help your neighbours.

And I would add to that, GROW FOOD!

Pure Evil - The Deliberate Uranium Contamination of Iraq

While illegally bombing Iraq into oblivion, the US added insult to injury by using the exercise as a way to get rid of their spent uranium. Depleted uranium was incorporated into the US bombs that rained down upon the poor citizens of Iraq, heavily contaminating huge areas with radioactivity.

In the heaviest effected areas, the rates of cancer and birth deformities are rising alarmingly. Iraq intends to sue US and Britain over this appalling war crime. The full story can be found here.

During the early years of the Iraq war the US and Britain bombed the country with nearly 2,000 tons of depleted uranium bombs according to Iraqi military experts. Pure evil...

Small Farm Self-Sufficiency

The bad news is that we will probably be feeling significant effects of peak oil by 2012. Everything that relies heavily on oil (notably transport and modern food production) may become either very expensive or in short supply. So where will our food come from? From sustainable, small scale, local organic farms, that's where!

The good news is that small acreages can produce a lot of food! In this Peak Moment video, Janet Brisson demonstrates her home-canned and dried vegetables, fruit, and beans she grows along with chickens and bees on her small acreage .

Renee Wade talks about adapting farming practices to suit the land: Though her property doesn't have access to much water, for example, she is able to raise goats.

We Must Resist Internet Censorship

The internet is an activists dream! When it comes the spreading information and mobilizing people fast, it has proven itself time and again as the greatest tool for preserving democracy and enabling grassroots action.

That is obviously the reason there are strong moves worldwide by governments to curb our internet freedoms.

In Australia, for example, the Federal Government is planning to force Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to censor the Internet for all Australians, ostensibly to protect children from paedophiles and pornography.

However, such censorship wont prevent criminals from accessing and distributing child sexual abuse material as it is already "underground". And once the government is given censorship powers, who will be there to stop them from abusing it!?

"Curbing freedom of speech will not prevent the exploitation of children."

Climate Change Science Casts Doubt on Global Warming Theory

Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) yesterday asked the Obama administration to investigate what he called “the greatest scientific scandal of our generation” — the actions of climate scientists revealed by the Climategate files, and the subsequent admissions by the editors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4). He also called for former Vice President Al Gore to be called back to the Senate to testify. “In [Gore's] science fiction movie, every assertion has been rebutted,” Inhofe said. He believes Vice President Gore should defend himself and his movie before Congress.

In this video scientists debunk Al Gore's anthropogenic global warming model with distinctly different views on changes to our climate. A very informative documentary about the real cause of global warming.
